Office of Graduate Studies
Graduate students at UC Davis have the opportunity to work with and learn from accomplished faculty, recognized for their contributions to research in their fields. The Office of Graduate Studies oversees nearly 100 graduate programs leading to master's and doctoral degrees, which together enroll approximately 4,800 graduate students. Many graduate programs are offered through graduate groups, an interdisciplinary concept that allows students to study and work with faculty in interrelated areas to broaden their intellectual experiences; see Graduate Studies.
UC Davis has six professional schools—the School of Law (J.D.), the School of Medicine (M.D.), the School of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M., M.P.V.M.), the School of Education (M.A., Ph.D., Ed.D.), the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing (M.H.S., M.S., Ph.D.), and the Graduate School of Management (M.B.A, M.P.A.c.).
