Course Description: Introduction to making presentations and writing compositions in the Urdu form of Hindi/Urdu using the Nasta’liq script in the context of the shared culture of Hindi/Urdu. Emphasis on short student presentations and compositions in Urdu. Includes an introduction to the Hindi form of Hindi/Urdu using the Devanagari script at the elementary level.
Prerequisite(s): URD 002; or consent of instructor.
