Graduate Study

The Master of Science in Environmental Policy & Management (EPM) program provides training in applying science, engineering and economics to real-world environmental policy and management issues. Graduates of this program are equipped to integrate technical and scientific expertise in a social-political-natural context to provide effective environmental policy and management solutions; for more information, see Environmental Policy & Management.

Preparation

Before enrolling, a student should have completed a program of study equivalent to a B.A. or B.S. in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) field. Students without a prior degree in a STEM field are required to complete preparatory courses, or their equivalents. Students should have a minimum of two quarters of introductory science and two quarters of upper division STEM or economics coursework.
